We retained attorney Chris Ferry and paralegal Krista Ikirt to handle the estate of my parents, who both passed away within a few months of each other. Chris and Krista were extremely professional and compassionate during every part of the process. They even went to the nursing home to spend time with my mom, who appreciated that more than words can express. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Chris Ferry or his paralegal Krista. They handled my moms estate and represented the estate and my brother. In my opinion, there were unnecessary delays, requests by 3 of the 4 beneficiaries that were ignored and ultimately I discovered an email that Attorney Ferry sent to the executor that was not only inaccurate but misrepresented my offer to get the estate settled. My opinion is he is long on excuses and short on solutions.

Be assured that the one who walked away with the most with the protection by the “estates attorney” will probably sing the praises of that attorney. Especially when the attorney assured him an extra $7200 paycheck. Seems to me handling a parents estate should have been honor rather than a paycheck.

My moms wishes were not carried out and despite the offices claim that the estate was “complex” Chris Ferry stated when taking over the case that it was “simple and straightforward “.

The firms response is factual that I was not the “personal representative “ but I was a beneficiary with equal rights as the other 3 siblings. Estate money should not be spent to cover for the behavior of the “personal representative “.

Chris Ferry and Krista Ikirt assumed my mother’s estate account after we were fired by another firm in Meadville after only six months of service. This firm stated that they were withdrawing as the counsel of record due to a sibling’s continual attack on the firm through letters, social media, Facebook, and Google reviews. This was further fueled by another sibling accusing me of stealing items in the house which that sibling found less that twenty-four hours later.
Chris and Krista had to endure the same behavior from the two siblings for over two years. If we were being charged by the hour in this matter there would have been nothing left in the account after the thousands of emails, call, and continued berating behavior. Chris Ferry was fair and tried all avenues to settle the account equably, but when you have siblings that want to fight and go to all lengths to try to persecute someone this made for a very complex estate. Thank you, Chris and Krista, for all that you did to fulfill my mother’s wishes and final accounting. Jay Parker

After going through this process I was expecting a large charge for all the services provided but was extremely surprised at how reasonable and fair the charge was for all the services provided.
