Mr. Yu was my professor for my Estate Planning class at California State University of Fullerton about 6 months ago. His class was one of the most, if not the most, challenging classes I had in my 4 years of college. He would teach us real life scenarios that were extremely complex and would emphasize certain keywords that I will never forget thanks to his great style of teaching. Moving forward to today, as I am currently studying for the CFP (Certified Financial Planner Exam), I realized how great of a professor he was, he was great at explaining the topics in such detail that I still remembered them today. He would also always stay after class till every single question a student may have was answered. Last but not least, he is highly responsive on any emails me or any classmate would send.

This brings me to the reason why I came to leave a review for him. Although I have not used his services for Estate Planning (I do plan to eventually), I believe this will help future clients of his know what type of person he is. Mr. Yu is someone genuine and caring who will go above and beyond to help others. Rest assure that if you use his services you will get an efficient and effective Estate Law Attorney.

Zero Mind

I got an email and text confirmation that I have a phone consultation at 4 pm today. At 4:06 p.m, I called, the receptionist have no clue. Stated she didn't know anything, will find out. Now at 4:45 pm, I still didn't get a call nor any explanation.....
This is the most unprofessional law office I've contacted! Neither the head nor the tail knows how to conduct business. I'd update if I do hear from them, if no updates, you know....
At 5 pm, I got a call from the new receptionist, stated the attorney is stuck in the court room, will call me tomorrow...
At 5:41 pm a male receptionist called me, informed me the attorney is unable to meet my expectations.... I informed him that I had to rush home so I could make my phone call appointment...
I'm fine with that. It began with a bad vibe before we even had a phone conversation.

The best way to describe Yu & Yu Law is a one-stop law firm for any and all legal advice! I was recently involved in a car accident and was desperately in need of a lawyer. I had a positive experience using Jay's services in the past because he always made himself available wherever he may be. This time was no different. Both James and Jay were attentive and diligent as I explained how the accident took place. As soon as they heard my story of the accident, they were able to identify exactly what I needed and how to deal with my case. They were very friendly and explained all legal terms into a simplified version for even someone like me to clearly understand. I never had problems trying to reach them since they were always on top of it and kept me inside the loop with the progress of the case. Yu brothers always called and left messages on time like they promised even after the office hours. I personally believe that communication is key with law firms especially when insurance companies and opponent drivers will do their best not to take responsibility for accidents. Yu brothers will always find a way for you to be compensated for your losses and get you what you deserve. I usually don't leave such long reviews but Yu brothers definitely earned my trust and review for making my life easier in this accident.
