I’ve had to deal with a couple of attorneys during my divorce and custody and what separates jay from other attorneys is that he is relatable, he doesn’t treat you like you are just another source of income, he talks to you like you are a human being, he invests in getting to know you as a person, he finds out what your expectations are in hiring him and then he surpasses even the highest expectations. His knowledge of the law is incredible and with his many years of experience he has learned things that only a seasoned attorney would be able to learn. He kept me informed, and if there was bad news he addressed it with me and took the time to help remedy it. His personal touch to my case made me feel as if I wasn’t fighting this battle alone but that I had somebody there in the trenches with me. Having somebody who invests the amount of time, care, concern, and effort that jay invested meant the world to me and I can’t thank him enough .

He took my money for a case a month before covid (02/2020). Never in office when called. Magically always in court. Never returns calls. NEVER DID THE JOB PAID FOR

Chased him for 2 years through family friends. They shamed him to return a call. He blamed a secretary for not filing paperwork. That was the excuse 2 x's

I did get to listen to his drunken problems for 2 hours on the initial consultation!

Jay was sick every time I was supposed to meet with him. He was disorganized and unprepared. The only thing he did for me was had my husband served with divorce papers. He rarely returned my calls or emails. He blamed his office staff. Had to get a new lawyer. I have spent months trying to get an itemized bill and refund. They is held up in the "accounting department" of the 2 person operation. Jay owes me $2,500. Will I ever see it?

I've had a few attorneys before Jay and no one has cared more about my case than him. He takes time to talk through my case and options even when those talks are tough. He is going into the courtroom with my family's best interest in mind for certain!

Jay started out seeming to be an incredible person, claiming to do what he does because he cares about families. Once I paid him, communication stopped. His secretary is very unprofessional and continuously gave me the run around. She had one excuse after another as to why there was no progress on our case. No work was done on my case after several months and when I asked for a refund, I was told the request was sent to the "accounting department" and when I asked how to reach the department, I was told they don't talk to clients. Despite being informed via voicemail by Jay that he would expedite my refund, and after checking on the status for several weeks.... nothing. Jay stole from my family, so it does not seem he cares at all about families. I have never felt the need to write a public negative review about any person or business, but this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I highly recommend seeking legal counsel elsewhere!

Don't waste your money. This office will never return your calls or emails. The court and my ex lawyer asked for certain paperwork and I sent it to Jay's office and tried to call for months and they never turned my paperwork in to the court or returned my calls. My entire 2 cases that I paid him for were botched by his office over and over again and when I would call because my child was being withheld for months he wouldn't return a single phone call so now I am having to file the case on my own after he was paid 5 grand to take care of this. When you do speak to him in his office he will tell you he is on suboxone and appear to be falling asleep while your talking to him about your case. My entire case and life have been destroyed due to poor representation and awful advice from an office that was disorganized and uncaring. Savè your money and go to someone who will care enough to do even the basic things like return a phone call or turn the paperwork you submit to the court because believe me your entire life is put into the hands of your lawyer in court and this one does not care about your case at all. My life has been destroyed because I put my money and my faith in this man. Make sure you save proof of all your attempts to get ahold of his office like I did so you will have it when you file with the bar because he destroyed your life like I am having to do.
